I first had the idea for Beach Rat Designs when making gifts for my younger sister. Our nicknames for each other are \u2018Rat\u2019, don\u2019t ask me why! However, with her spending most her time playing beach volleyball the nickname \u2018Beach Rat\u2019 was coined. I customised some clothing items for her with this name on and had the initial thought of \u2018one day I could grow this into a real brand\u2019.\"wvqmjircqi7i1g0e3y2jkk8vhu7pu7aohkzqtegl64ke2sfd.jpeg\"This thought had always been in the back of my mind until recently when I decided to do something about it, creating Beach Rat Designs. I wanted an outlet for my creativity which is inspired by my adventures in the great outdoors. I love remembering where I have been, the things I have seen and wanted my brand to reflect this. I am so inspired by spending time outside and the wildlife that I encounter, and I wanted the chance to share that with the world.<\/p>

With my love for the outdoors fuelling my creative journey I didn\u2019t want anything I am putting out there to have a negative impact on the planet. The fashion industry can be so destructive with so much waste that I didn\u2019t want my brand to contribute to. That\u2019s why I found a supplier that shares my sustainable beliefs.\"iezcg4e8j778jdtjnlffgutj4z6operr8pesmiegq2bvuryr.jpeg\"All of our products are made print on demand, meaning we don\u2019t hold stock which will later end up in landfill. Our products are only created when you make an order, hello slow fashion!<\/p>

Not only that but all our products are made from GOTS certified organic materials, using renewable energy and vegan inks. All our packaging is plastic free allowing for it to reused or recycled, personally I love using it as wrapping paper! Our products are made to last but if they do happen to become unwearable, fear not! Our suppliers Remill campaign means you can send your worn out products back to us where they will be made into new items of clothing, and receive store credit for yourself, creating a circular fashion economy, what\u2019s not to like!<\/span><\/p>
